3rd Annual HRS Holiday Bunny Bazaar

Amber Tadena

Make plans to join us for our 3rd annual holiday bunny bazaar on December 14, from 12 to 3 pm!

Stop by to make your own mischief mat to take home to your furry friend or give to an HRS shelter rabbit like Maleficent pictured about. Despite her namesake is has been oh so nice and not at all naughty! We’ll have a toy making station where you can make something that will be fun for your bunny to discover (and destroy). There will be various rabbit keepsakes and trinkets and other unique gift items for the rabbit lovers in your life along with a hot cocoa bar (with vegan options) available by donation. Check out the HRS Hop Shop for some holiday specials, too.

There’s no ticket for entry. We’ll have a free, exclusive HRS holiday bunny sticker for anyone who stops by, so don’t miss out! All proceeds support rabbit rescue and education. We hope to see you there!

Holiday Drive for the HRS Pantry

Amber Tadena

Can you donate an item (or two!) to our rabbit essentials pantry? As we gear up for the holiday season, we could use your help in keeping our pantry stocked for those in need. On average, every month we have about 40 different households utilizing the pantry, which has helped 150 rabbits continue to stay with their families as opposed to ending up in overcrowded shelters. We’re currently accepting food and litter items (unopened) and items like bowls, carriers, and x-pens that are lightly used and can be sanitized. Donations can be dropped off at our facility anytime Tuesdays through Sundays from 11 am to 4 pm (until 3 pm on Sundays). As a show of our appreciation for your support, when you bring your donation item to us, you will receive a special HRS supporter sticker!

Another way to support the pantry is to buy an e-gift card from Amazon, Chewy, or Pet Food Express and email it to [email protected]. We can then buy the needed food, litter and hay. Another option is to buy an item from our Amazon wish list or Chewy wish list to have them shipped directly to us.

Your donations also make it possible for us to continue important programs like our rabbit essentials pantry. So many rabbits are depending on the kindness of our supporters, who love rabbits and understand how wonderful they are, as cherished and loving family members in our homes. You can support the pantry by donating at houserabbit.org/donate. Please specify you would like your donation to be for the pantry in the comment box.
